There is no denying the passion and enthusiasm we have at SKTL. It takes many forms and we are proud to share this artistic expression by one of our very talented Board Members, the librarian extraordinaire, Mr. Anthony Wilson. "This is a beautiful gift. I hope people take advantage and make our community more enjoyable." You may have seen in our last Newsletter that we created a Community Survey to get some direct feedback. We had some great connections and we are going to leave the survey open for even more feedback, but first we wanted to share some of the passionate responses. Almost 80% of responders said they would venture out to tackle Home or Yard maintenance and repair projects they aren’t all that familiar with. With the tools we share and the knowledge we spread, we will save folks money, time, and piece of mind! Another clear message from participants was a request for classes, training and orientation

Where did September go?

September is a busy month for most of us. The end of Summer, back to school, and of course the start of Fall! SKTL wanted to share some of our highlights and some great work by volunteers right here in our community. We had a small work party on September 15th where we had some great volunteers help sort, test, and organize hundreds of our donated tools. Don’t worry! We will have plenty more Work Parties as we get our tools into tip top shape! Click HERE for our calendar. Anyone need a few hundred metric sockets?? On September 22nd we collected donations at the City of Federal Way’s Recycling Event! We save the tools we can and we love to see our neighbors disposing of waste responsibly and
