SKTL EVENTS

South King Tool Library (SKTL) will be hosting and attending a variety of events throughout the year. Our goal is to support you in sharing resources, making choices that are good for your budget and the environment and helping you feel confident in adding a little more DIY to your life!

REPAIR CAFES:

Do you have electronics, furniture and clothing sitting around that needs to be repaired? Don’t trash them - bring them to one of the free quarterly Repair Cafés. Skilled “fixers” will be there to help you repair or mend your damaged or broken items. Over 85% of the items at previous events were repaired on the spot! Check the Calendar for the next event.

Please note: There are other repair events around the area that you can attend:

CLASSES & WORKSHOPS:

SKTL offers a variety of free classes and workshops in partnership with other local organizations. Check the Calendar for upcoming events.

GRAND OPENING EVENT:

We had a groundbreaking ceremony on Wednesday, November 14 at 9 AM at the Masonic Lodge, 1700 S 340th St, Federal Way. Construction is occurring, but at a lower pace than expected due to the limited funding and building experience. Stay tuned...
