OUR MISSION:
The South King Tool Library (SKTL) provides access to tools and training in order to help maintain neighborhoods, build community and reduce unnecessary consumption with households of all forms including low-income residents and under-served populations.
SKTL fulfills this mission through our key programs: tool lending, repair events, and classes that teach DIY and eco-friendly skills. We also partner with other businesses, organizations, groups and community members to host recycling and resource sharing events, sustainability summits, and other opportunities to come together in support of healthy communities, economic empowerment, environmental stewardship, and equity in all its forms.
