Where did September go?

September is a busy month for most of us. The end of Summer, back to school, and of course the start of Fall! SKTL wanted to share some of our highlights and some great work by volunteers right here in our community.

We had a small work party on September 15th where we had some great volunteers help sort, test, and organize hundreds of our donated tools. Don’t worry! We will have plenty more Work Parties as we get our tools into tip top shape! Click HERE for our calendar.

Anyone need a few hundred metric sockets??

On September 22nd we collected donations at the City of Federal Way’s Recycling Event! We save the tools we can and we love to see our neighbors disposing of waste responsibly and efficiently!

Then on September 30th we teamed up with We Love our City for Serve Day! Thank you to all of the volunteers that came out in support and cleaned up Olympic View Elementary Garden!

With the help of SKTL wheelbarrows, shovels, trowels, hoes, rakes, and shears; and a LOT of elbow grease from the hardworking volunteers... We managed to transform the overgrown garden in one afternoon!

Do you have a community project that can team up with SKTL?? Let us know! Send us and E-mail: info@southkingtools.org
