Join us at the South King Tool Library for our free fix-it event Saturday, August 24th from 10am-2pm.
Bring your damaged furniture, broken small household items, dull knives, and torn clothing. Our fixers will do their best to make your items usable again!
• First come, first served. Plan to stay during the repair. • Bring any manuals and/or parts and components to help us fix and test. • NO items that are oversized, leaking, contain gasoline, or have a strong odor. NO items containing hazardous materials. NO broken cell phone screens, locked out electronics, or microwaves. • Expert fixers will do their best to fix items, but no guarantees. • Limit 3 items for sharpening. • Sewing repairs only, no alterations/rebuilds.
This event is partially funded through a Public Participation Grant from the Washington Department of Ecology as well as through support from the King County Solid Waste Division.
