Volunteer celebration:
Join us in gifting books to each other. The idea is to wrap the book in brown paper or giftwrap and write a whimsical description of the book without giving away the title. We will have extra paper, writing prompts and pre made descriptions available.
There will be an Alice in Wonderland themed treasure hunt as well! Wear a top hat or bring a parasol.
We're celebrating 5 years—so expect things in fun groups of 5! No balloons this time, but bubbles are totally encouraged. If you're feeling the love, consider tossing in a $5 donation to show some appreciation.
Since it’s also the summer solstice, we’re thinking playful vibes: maybe some rabbit whisker face painting, teapots, top hats, and easygoing music.
We'll have scones, finger sandwiches, fruit, iced tea, and cider, all served on a charming mix of mismatched dishes and teacups.
