Upcycled Terrarium Gifts, will be hosted by the South King Tool Library, is a hands-on session where participants learn to build terrariums with foraged plants and upcycled materials. The workshop promotes sustainability by teaching conservation and waste reduction through upcycling and responsible foraging, native and invasive species handling, demonstrating terrarium-building techniques, and encouraging ongoing care and connection to nature. Its goal is to inspire participants to adopt environmentally mindful habits that reduce waste and support personal and planetary well-being.
