Join us to discover more about the upcoming projects at the Steel Lake Annex, Celebration Park, and Brook-lake Park sites!
Are you or your organization interested in learning about native plants, invasive species removal, the history of our parks, and their connection to the sound?
You might not know it, but your backyard and these parks impact our sound, salmon, and even orca health - as they flow into the Hylebos Creek Basin.
The South King Tool Library is excited to partner with City of Federal Way Parks to activate our community parks and bring everyone closer to nature.
In collaboration with Free the Green, Ecological Restoration, this event will launch monthly work parties where participants can learn about native plants and biodiversity, methods for invasive species removal and control, tool use and safety, and much more!
