Classes and workshops.
SKTL hosts free classes and workshops on DIY topics throughout the year. We partner with organizations and topic experts to learn skills that save you money, spark your creativity, and help you build eco-friendly (ecologically and economically) habits that are good for you and the planet. Checkout some of our past classes and workshop on our YouTube Channel.
Repair events.
Don't throw it out - get it fixed for free! Our amazing fixers can repair electronics, furniture, clothing, appliances, toys and so much more. No guarantees, but our success rate hovers at 90%. You'll also get detailed notes about what broke, parts needed, and how they fixed it, or how you can do it yourself.
Recycling events.
When things reach the absolute end of use, it's time to recycle. SKTL works with the City of Federal Way and other partners to help you recycle items that don't go in your curbside bin. Just pack them up bring them to us. We'll do the rest.
