Whether you're looking to enjoy fresh eggs or simply want to experience the joys of backyard chickens, this class will provide you with the knowledge and confidence to get started on your urban farming journey.
This class aims to educate participants on the essentials of raising chickens in an urban setting, covering topics such as proper care, housing requirements, and local regulations regarding chicken keeping. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions and engage with the instructor. The event is designed for anyone interested in sustainable living and urban farming, we will provide valuable insights into how to incorporate chickens into your backyard for fresh eggs and companionship.
Shannon Molina is an award-winning vegan baker, amateur carpenter, professional educator, and proud chicken mama. In March 2019, she adopted four day-old chicks and over the last five years, she has learned a lot about how to effectively care for chickens. She is passionate about sharing her knowledge and experience in order to help them add beauty to their own lives.
